An other stop is going to be in Firostefani "Crown of Fira". There we will be able to see the famous Blue Dome church with the three Bells , the one that you can see in most of the postcards of Santorini.

We continue by visiting the traditional village of Megalochori , which is dating back to 17 century and where we will be able to see traditional architecture and visit the Old cave in order to see how people used to live in the past.

This prosperous society of Akrotiri had an unfortunate end around 1613 BC, as one of the most powerful volcanic eruptions and a major earthquake occurred and buried the town under volcanic ash. This helped in the preservation of the remains of the settlement.
