The Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, is a major historical landmark in Ho Chi Minh City. The War Remnants Museum powerfully portrays the harsh realities of the Vietnam War and its impact on the Vietnamese people. Built by the French between 1877 and 1880, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon is a landmark of Ho Chi Minh City.
