Then starts half day your excursion by boat on Inle lake (25km) famous for places like unique one-leg rowers ( situated only in this part of the world), magical world of floating gardens, scenic beauty, observe the daily life of local people who are basically fisherman and plantation farmer. Visit to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe kyaung Monastery famous for jumping cats trained by monks. Then visit to the silver smith shops and silk weaving workshops.Afterwards , we bring you a local tea shop and enjoy a traditional cup of tea & snack before transferring back to hotel.

About Nyaungshwe
Nyaungshwe is the gateway town to Inle Lake in Myanmar's Shan State, a canal-crossed settlement of monasteries, markets and boat landings.
Nyaungshwe sits at the northern end of Inle Lake in the Shan Hills of eastern Myanmar, at around 880 metres, where a canal runs from the lake into town. From its jetty, long wooden boats carry visitors across the lake past the leg-rowing fishermen of the Intha people, floating gardens where tomatoes grow on beds of lake weed, and villages on stilts. In town, Shwe Yan Pyay monastery is known for its oval windows.
