Continuing, you'll stroll towards the main square where the Segovia Cathedral reaches for the sky. We'll then proceed to reach the Alcazar of Segovia, an ancient fortress of Castilian kings overseeing the city's main entrances.

Drive to Segovia. We can choose to drive via the mountains for scenic drive. It takes an extra 20 minutes but on a pretty day it is worth it.

Lets start with a WOW moment. The Pradera de San Marcos is located right at the foot of the Alcazar de Segovia, which rises imposingly on a promontory. It gives the impression of being a ship (more like its bow) embedded high on a rock. The best view is obtained from this meadow.
