About Potsdam
Potsdam is the Brandenburg capital beside Berlin, a city of lakes, palaces and royal parks led by Frederick the Great's summer palace of Sanssouci.
Potsdam lies on the Havel river and a chain of lakes just south-west of Berlin, and for generations it was the summer home of the Prussian kings.
