*Full-Day* (Penguin Walk + Navigation) Duration: 10 hours approx - Departures 8:30 or 10:30am - First part of the tour: Penguin walk Bus departure traveling National Route N3 and J. 15-minute navigation to Martillo Island and 1-hour hike with Magellanic and Papuan penguins. Return to the city by bus. - Second part of the tour: Beagle Channel navigation Fauna observation in Lobos and Birds Island, as well as the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. The tour begins at the Ushuaia tourist pier. They must be there 30 minutes before the departure time.
Ushuaia, a windy city located on a steep hill, is surrounded by the Martial mountains and the Beagle channel. It is an access road to cruises to Antarctica and tours near Yécapasela Island, known as "Penguin Island" for its colonies of this species.
Martillo Island, or Yecapasela Island, is an insular territory in the Beagle Channel belonging to the Ushuaia department of the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands in the southern tip of Argentine Patagonia. Its surface is 32 ha.

About Ushuaia
Ushuaia, on the Beagle Channel in Tierra del Fuego, is often called the southernmost city in the world, a port ringed by snowy peaks.
Ushuaia sits on a narrow shelf between the Beagle Channel and the Martial mountains, in the Argentine half of Tierra del Fuego. It began as a mission and later became a penal colony, and the old prison, now a museum, tells that story alongside the maritime history of the far south. Painted houses climb the slope, and the harbour is where expedition ships leave for Antarctica.
