Lake Yamanaka (Yamanaka-ko) is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes and is located at the northern base of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Due to its high altitude, it is the third-highest lake in Japan and is known for freezing completely in the winter, making it a popular spot for ice fishing.
Lake Kawaguchiko (Kawaguchi-ko) is the most visited and accessible of the Fuji Five Lakes, located at the northern base of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture. It is the second largest of the five lakes and sits at an elevation of about 830 meters.
Lake Saiko (Sai-ko) is one of the Fuji Five Lakes, situated to the west of the more well-known Lake Kawaguchiko. Unlike the more developed Kawaguchiko, Saiko is known for its serene, natural atmosphere and is less commercially developed.
