About ウブド
ウブドはバリ島の文化の中心で、緑豊かな高地に、棚田と渓谷に囲まれた寺院、工芸の村、舞踊が集まる町です。
町の中心はウブド王宮とその向かいのにぎやかな市場で、夕方には寺院の中庭で伝統舞踊が上演されます。サラスワティ寺院の蓮の池は幹線道路のすぐ脇にあり、モンキーフォレスト・サンクチュアリでは、苔むした祠と巨大なバニヤンの木々の間にカニクイザルが暮らしています。
