About Langhe-Roero and Monferrato

The Langhe, around Alba, is the home of Barolo and Barbaresco, red wines made from the nebbiolo grape. The Roero lies across the Tanaro river, and Monferrato, further east, reaches Asti and the Barbera and Moscato vineyards.
