Built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, this old fort has been renamed to Amer-Rajput Palace and Fort and continues to be a popular attraction. A must-see spot within the fort complex is Panna Meena ka Kund, a unique square-shaped stepwell with stairs on all four sides and a room on the northern wall.
