行程
A small fortified village of medieval origin still surrounded by the walls DA and mentioned by Dante Alighieri in the divine Comedy in canto XXVIII for the strength of its wind. Its name derives DA the fires that were lit on the coast to signal the presence of the reef at night to passing ships.
Casteldimezzo known in ancient times as "castrum Medi" is located on the border between Marche and Romagna along with the other two castles of Fiorenzuola di Focara and Gradara long disputed between the Malatesta and Montefeltro families. The church of San Cristoforo e Apollinare will take us back in time with an adventurous legend linked to his crucifix.
A natural port surrounded by woods and Mediterranean scrub, already known at the time of the Greeks for the possibility of supplying fresh water. An ideal place to stop and admire nature and enjoy the sea.

About Pesaro
Pesaro is an Adriatic seaside city in the Marche and the birthplace of Rossini, with a long sandy beach, a ducal palace and a hilly hinterland.
Pesaro faces the Adriatic with a wide beach of fine sand backed by promenades and a sculpture, Arnaldo Pomodoro's Sfera Grande, a large bronze sphere on the seafront. The composer Gioachino Rossini was born here in 1792, and his birthplace is a museum, while an opera festival in his name fills the theatres in August. The central Piazza del Popolo has a fountain and the Ducal Palace, once the seat of the Della Rovere family.
