VISIT THE WALLS AND TASTE WINES AMONG VINEYARDS AND OLIVE GROVES The e-bike tour begins with an introdution to the city by our friendly guide and a visit to the walls of Lucca, over 4 km of cycle path all around the historic center. From this elevated position above the city, you will have a view of the symbolic monuments of Lucca and you will have time to become familiar with the e-bike. After a taste of Lucca the guide will easily lead you outside the walls, entering the surrounding countryside, among charming villages and family farms. The e-bike will allow you to face a few short climbs effortlessly and our expert guide will help you understand the complexity of the "vineyard" ecosystem and its low environmental impact agriculture. The visit will continue in the cellar and in the vineyards with the wine tasting combined with typical local products such as bruschetta, meats, cheeses and olive oil.

So much fun! Loved biking on the wall and in the countryside. The winery tour was very informative and the wine & food delicious. Our tour guide told us many interesting and fun facts about the area.

5Great activity Lucca
Brillant guide Lucca very imformative and intresting .Cycle easy with e bike.The tour brought us into countryside which was intresting to cycle through.Winery was lovely and they provided us with 3 wine tastings and some lovely cheese ham breads and some biscuits .What a beautiful setting .

5Fantastic E-Bike tour in Lucca!
We had a wonderful e-bike tour with Lucca! (yes, he has the same name as the city) Traveling with a group of friends, we explored the pretty Lucca walls, which are tree-lined and wide for biking and walking. Then we biked through the beautiful countryside of Lucca. We stopped for a wine tour and small bite at a local family-run, winery. It was one of our favorite days in Tuscany! It was informative, fun, safe, and interesting! Thank you, Lucca, for being a great tour guide!! Highly recommend.

5It was a great way to see...
It was a great way to see the beautiful area and learn the history of Lucca. Our guide was great! The e-bikes made the hills a piece of cake. The vineyard was a lovely, small family operation that has been operating for generations. A very nice lunch was included. I was sure to bring some wine home to enjoy for later.

About Lucca

Lucca is a walled Tuscan city of Renaissance ramparts, narrow lanes and an oval piazza, and the birthplace of the composer Giacomo Puccini.

Lucca is enclosed by intact Renaissance walls, about four kilometres around, topped by a tree-lined promenade used for walking and cycling above the rooftops. Within them the medieval street plan survives, with Via Fillungo as its shopping spine and many towers and churches. The Piazza dell'Anfiteatro is an oval square built on the footprint of a Roman amphitheatre, and the Guinigi Tower grows holm oaks on its roof.
