Greek Inspired Textured Ceramic Workshop in Athens

Step into a working Athenian ceramics studio and create your own handcrafted piece in a calm, hands-on session guided by an experienced maker. The experience begins with a short theoretical introduction, where you’ll learn how a ceramic piece is made from start to finish—from shaping and forming to drying and finishing—so you understand the full creative process before you begin working with the clay. You will then shape the material yourself, explore basic techniques, and gradually bring your own object to life in a relaxed, creative environment—no experience needed. Alongside the workshop, you’ll also have the opportunity to step inside a real Athenian ceramics studio with active production and observe how contemporary pieces are created throughout the entire process, offering a insight into the new wave of ceramic practice in Athens—modern in approach, hands-on in spirit, and grounded in true craftsmanship.

Meet us at Pyroga Ceramic Studio. The studio is located on the ground floor (shop level). Please ring the bell upon arrival. We are very close to Petralona Station (green line). Use the Ano Petrlona exit.
