Start the day hiking in the Cordón del Plata, with a route and pace adapted to the group so you can experience the Andes at a level that feels right for you. Then, after several hours in the mountains, continue the experience at our mountain home with a traditional Argentine asado. Rather than combining a fixed hike with a standard restaurant lunch, the entire day is organized as one experience. You’ll spend the first part exploring the mountains with a professional guide, then sit down to appetizers, fire-cooked meat, side dishes, Mendoza wine, and dessert prepared by us. About Mendoza
Mendoza is a wine city of tree-lined avenues and irrigation channels on a dry plain, with the high Andes rising to the west.
Mendoza was largely rebuilt after the earthquake of 1861, which is why its streets are wide and its squares open. Plane trees shade the pavements, watered by old irrigation channels called acequias. Plaza Independencia sits at the centre with four smaller squares around it, and the great Parque General San Martín climbs to the Cerro de la Gloria, a monument with a view over the city.
