About Palma de Mallorca

Palma, capital of Mallorca, is a Mediterranean city of a vast sea-facing Gothic cathedral, an old town of courtyards, a hilltop castle and a long bay.

Palma lies on a wide bay on the south-west coast of Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands. The Gothic cathedral La Seu rises on the seafront, its enormous rose window one of the largest of its kind, and the Almudaina Palace, a royal palace of Moorish origin, stands beside it.
