5Wonderful time discovering Capri!
We had the most wonderful day visiting Capri! Arriving on the island is a bit overwhelming, and it was so nice to see Giovanna’s friendly face. We found the tour exactly where we were directed to go. We took very comfortable shuttle bus up the Anacapri while Giovanna told us the history of the island, and explained to us the sites we were seeing along the way. When we got to the top, she gave us some recommendations and away we went to explore on our own. It was so beautiful. We enjoyed lunch at the restaurant that she recommended, and it was delicious! The staff was also incredibly friendly. The shuttles run every 20 minutes or so, so you can head down to Capri whenever you’re ready. We stayed a little longer in Anacapri exploring the beautiful cemetery. Capri was also nice, but Anacapri seemed a little more laid back. We wouldn’t have been able to navigate our way around the island on our own in the same way without Giovanna’s help and the assistance of the other guides. It was such a wonderful day, I highly recommend this tour!
5Worth Visiting this Gem - CAPRI
We took the ferry boat from Sorrento one way (€20) only since we sis not know how long our day in Capri will be. We also bought tickets (€25 each) to go on a trip around the island of Capri (worth going), trip takes around 1 hour. We took the Funicular (€2.50 p.p one way) spent around 3 hours walking in the center of Capri, had lunch and then we went back to Capri harbor bought the way back ferry ticket (€22). Trip will take around 25 mins.
1Disappointed
It’s not a guided trip. My friends and I waited in capri port, no one arrived to meet us at the stop. Another tour guide suggested we get on a bus which wasn’t guided. By the time we got some help in ana capri and spoke to someone on the phone she said she’d sent us a message (not received) and it wasn’t guided (not very clear) Basically paid €43 each to get a bus whereas other buses had guides. Cheaper on local bus. Loved capri though
4First time on Capri
We had fun time exploring island, initially thought this was a guided tour but later made clear it was a hop on hop off. Still had fun time looking, shopping and eating. Beautiful spots to take selfies.
5Capri Day with Giovanna
Giovanna is friendly, knowledgeable, and a great guide! She makes it possible to enjoy Anacapri and Capri in one day. Don’t hesitate to book and ask for Giovanna! Grazie Mille Paula, Bill, Melissa, Tim, Isabella, Gabriella, Lucca, Billy, Katy

Giovanna contacted us the day before our tour and made sure we had our ferry tickets and all other questions answered. We took a ferry from Naples to Capri and she made sure our whole day was seamless and helped us feel very taken care of. Since we came from Naples on the ferry, it was a lot of travel required and did not get to spend as much time on the island as we hoped. The chairlift in Anicapri was fantastic! Highly recommend it!

About Capri
Capri is a steep limestone island in the Bay of Naples, known for its sea grottoes, rock stacks and villas, and the terraced town above the harbour.
Capri rises from the sea off the Sorrentine peninsula, with two towns on its saddle: Capri itself, whose small square, the Piazzetta, is lined with cafés, and Anacapri, higher and quieter on the western side. The Roman emperor Augustus liked the island and Tiberius spent his last years here, and the ruins of his Villa Jovis stand on the eastern cliffs. Ferries and hydrofoils arrive at the Marina Grande.
Top-ranked sights in Capri: Faraglioni, Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra), Green Grotto (Grotta Verde).
