About Port Antonio
Port Antonio is a small harbour town on Jamaica's north-east coast, close to the Blue Lagoon, Reach Falls and the bamboo rafts of the Rio Grande.
Port Antonio sits on a bay facing the Caribbean, in the parish of Portland, with hills rising steeply behind the town. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries it was a busy port for the banana trade, and its quiet streets still hold buildings from that era.
