About Devon
Devon is a county in south-west England with two coasts, the high moors of Dartmoor and Exmoor, thatched villages and cream teas.
Devon reaches from the English Channel in the south to the Bristol Channel in the north. The cathedral city of Exeter stands at its heart, and from there the land rises to Dartmoor, a national park of granite tors, wild ponies and ancient stone rows, and to the high cliffs and heather of Exmoor in the north.
