Beofore the tour (option with the departure at 7.00 AM) take some time to enjoy the vibrant, modern and cosmopolitan atmosphere so characteristic for the era of united Germany before taking the road back to Wroclaw in the late afternoon.
Strolling down the city centre you will stand above the former Hitler's Bunker and you will see the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, taking some time to reflect about the millions who perished in the Nazi Holocaust.
Then you will discover the Check Point Charlie, the famous border crossing during the division of the city in times of Cold War
and other well-known places such as Gendarmenmarkt, the remains of The Berlin Wall, Luftwaffe Headquarters and the Book burning memorial on Bebel Platz, to help you understand the complicated legacy of the city.
The walk starts in front of the Brandenburg Gate, the city’s greatest icon.

About Wrocław
Wrocław is the historic capital of Lower Silesia in Poland, a city of islands and bridges on the Oder with a vast market square and little bronze dwarfs.
Wrocław is spread across islands and channels of the Oder river, joined by a tangle of bridges, and it was known as Breslau when it belonged to Germany until 1945. The Market Square is one of the largest in Europe, ringed by coloured gabled houses and dominated by the Gothic Old Town Hall. Ostrów Tumski, the Cathedral Island and the oldest part of the city, still has gas lamps.
