Discover Arequipa from a new perspective as you glide above the Mollebaya valley with a pilot. No previous paragliding experience is needed. Your adventure begins with a transfer from the meeting point to the takeoff area, followed by instructions on takeoff and landing. Then enjoy approximately 15–18 minutes in the air, taking in the landscape below. Your pilot will choose the landing area according to the weather conditions. About Arequipa
Arequipa, in southern Peru, is a white-stone colonial city beneath the cone of El Misti volcano, close to the deep Colca Canyon.
Arequipa lies at about 2,300 metres in the dry southern Andes, with the cone of El Misti volcano rising above it and Chachani and Pichu Pichu on either side. Its centre is built from sillar, a light volcanic stone that has earned it the name of the White City. The Plaza de Armas has arcades, palms and the cathedral, whose façade stretches the full length of one side.
