About Annecy

Annecy, in the French Alps, is a town of canals, an old castle and pastel houses beside a clear blue lake ringed by mountains.

Annecy's old town sits on the Thiou canal, where stone bridges, arcades and pastel houses frame the Palais de l'Isle, a medieval building shaped like a ship's prow in the water.
