5A Must-Visit Natural Paradise in Morocco
Akchour is one of the most beautiful natural destinations in northern Morocco. The hike is enjoyable, with stunning mountain scenery, crystal-clear pools, and peaceful waterfalls.
5Well-paced, informative and worthwhile
The tour was well-paced and Khaled was very lovely who made sure the hike was as safe and as well-paced as possible. The rides to and from Akchour were also very scenic and pleasant. Yes, you can get to Akchour on your own, but having a guide really makes your travels so much more informative, interesting and memorable. As someone who loves listening to other people’s stories, this tour was definitely one of the highlights for my stay in Chefchaouen. It was a great way to end my trip here!
5Visit to the waterfalls
Amaizing tour to the waterfalls. Our guide, Khalid, taught us a lot about Chefchaouen region and Morrocco in general. It was a very pleasant journey which we strongly recommend.
5A memorable day at Akchour
We enjoyed this so much! The waterfalls and God's bridge were just part of a scenic drive and a great hike. From the beautiful river to monkeys in the trees, and a little picnic by the water, it was all perfect. We felt very comfortable with our guide and he went out of his way to make it a memorable day.

We had an amazing day exploring Akchour. The hike was fun, the scenery was breathtaking, and the swim in the natural pools was refreshing. Our guide was fantastic and even arranged a delicious lunch for us

About Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen is a mountain town in northern Morocco whose old medina is washed in blue, set among the Rif hills with hiking trails nearby.
Chefchaouen was founded in 1471 as a small fortress against Portuguese raids and grew when Muslim and Jewish refugees from Spain settled here. Its old town, the medina, is a maze of steep lanes and houses washed in shades of blue, with painted doors and pots of flowers. The main square, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, is dominated by the red-walled kasbah and the Great Mosque with its octagonal minaret.
