The first stop before arriving at the archaeological site is Kaua, a town in the state of Yucatan. After the shaman welcome, thanks to the guide we will explore the traditions of the place by discovering the secrets of Oxidian processing. Cenote Saamal is a beautiful cenote that is open with a manmade waterfall going into it. You will need to descend down stone steps. There are multiple viewing platforms to take photos from.

Today it is a placid city where you can admire beautiful old houses, has great commercial dynamism and is a key point in the development of the state for its strategic location.
