This package show you glimpse of Bhutan and the important places in Thimphu and Paro. Your tour will start with pick up from Paro and transfer to Thimphu the capital city. Thimphu has much to offer but we will start of with major landmarks and local cuisine. Explore Thimphu at a leisure pace and then transfer to Paro and prepare for your hike up to Tiger's Nest. About Paro
Paro is a green valley town in western Bhutan, home to the country's only international airport and the cliff-clinging Tiger's Nest monastery.
The Paro valley opens along a river at about 2,200 metres, its terraced rice fields dotted with farmhouses whose windows are painted wood. Paro Taktsang, the Tiger's Nest, clings to a sheer cliff some 900 metres above the valley floor, reached by a steep forest path. Rinpung Dzong, a whitewashed fortress-monastery, overlooks the town, and a covered wooden bridge crosses the river beneath it.
